Jesus, You rescued me,
To live with You eternally.
You humbled Yourself on this earth,
The moment You arrived from a virgin’s birth.

You could have stayed in Heaven,
But the love for us kept You driven.
We are not worthy to be called children,
But You said, “I love you; you are forgiven.”

From before the foundations of the universe,
You had a plan from the beginning:
Your Son was the Lamb to end the curse,
Which is the reason that I am singing.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Praise the King!
What mercy, grace and peace You bring!
Our strength is weak, our faith is small,
God’s humble power, lifting us all!

He took our pain, our sins, and our shame,
Saying, “Daughter, behold, here’s your new name!
Go ahead, and sin no more;
Your life—I have so much in store!

So rest, My Daughter, and do not fear,
Your Father loves you, and He’s always near.”
